I love my house, but the girl next door from pakistan.
dont know but 1 snap of hers made me write this lines.
neither the poet is a shanjanhan nor he is looking for any mumtaz.
its only imagination where the poet says that its been years i saw such a face.

आज समझा मोहब्बत की सबसे बड़ी निशानी
आज समझा मोहब्बत की सबसे बड़ी निशानी
मेरे वतन का ताजमहल अब तक मेरे वतन में ही है

शायद शहाजहां भी यहीं कहीं है
शायद शहाजहां भी यहीं कहीं है
मगर अब यहाँ मुमताज़ नहीं है
अब यहाँ मुमताज़ नहीं है.....
दो बार जंग जीत के भी क्या फायदा

हमारे वतन में कोई ऐसी अब मुमताज़ नहीं है..
हाँ शायद हमारे वतन में कोई ऐसी मुमताज़ नहीं है..
आगरा भी यहीं
ताज भी यहीं
महल भी है...
शाहजहाँ भी यहीं कहीं...
पर अब शायद वहाँ,कोई मुमताज़ नहीं है...
चले गए हमको अब रुसवा करके
क्या हमारे वतन में एक भी ऐसी मुमताज़ नहीं है....!
क्या हमारे वतन में एक भी ऐसी मुमताज़ नहीं है....!
जंग जीत के भी क्या फायदा...
जब ताजमहल में मुमताज़ ही नहीं है....
